As a QC Inspector, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and precision of gas turbine components.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Conducting thorough inspections throughout the various stages of component receipt, bulk strip, detail, and final build
Using advanced measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, micrometres, and Faro Arm for precise assessments (training provided if necessary)
Collaborating with quality engineers to troubleshoot and manage quality-related matters
Maintaining meticulous inspection documentation standards
Displaying proficiency in quality processes, measuring tools, and dimensional reporting
Liaising with project engineers to ensure seamless communication and workflow
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related industry, with previous QC inspection exposure
Familiarity with industrial gas turbines and/or power turbines (preferred)
Proficiency in interpreting illustrated parts catalogues and engineering drawings
Flexibility, teamwork mentality, and the ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
Impeccable attention to detail
