The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a Systems Engineer to work in our Reston, VA or Alexandria, VA office.

Ability to work in Northern Virginia is preferred. Candidate working from remote locations will also be considered. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain MBSE projects in Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw ver. 2021

• Responsible for the development of MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulations

• Support a System of Systems digital engineering approach to iterate through architecture concepts and design

• Collaborating with multiple contractors and integrating Cameo model inputs into source models

• Developing baseline architecture model of existing systems and capturing configuration of network

• Facilitate technical and programmatic information exchange in support of program objectives

• Participate in Working Groups and IPTs, informal and formal technical interchanges, and formal reviews

• Develop technical roadmaps; establish and maintain reference architectures

• Document interfaces and standards

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree)

• Demonstrable knowledge in Systems Engineering modeling tools (e.g. DOORS and Cameo)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems

• Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.

• Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience

• Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing, Networks, Tactical Communications, Data Management, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and C4ISR systems integration

• Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)

Clearance Required:

• Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiatives

• Prior experience with development descriptive models for network architecture

• Prior experience developing Cameo model validation scripts

• Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation

• Prior experience support Department of the Air Force programs

• Previous experience working on complex multi-domain systems

• Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
