The role you’ll contribute:

The Senior Enterprise Security Architect drives efforts to provide Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability for AHS information assets. This is accomplished through the design of security solutions that both protect AHS information and meet regulatory requirements. The architect collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure IT implementations align with enterprise security policy; and provides leadership in the development of standards and architectural governance efforts. The architect also serves as an information security advisor to key technology and business stakeholder and mentors intermediate and associate security architects.

· Design information security solutions to protect AHS information; address regulatory requirements and align to security framework

· Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure IT implementations align with enterprise security policy

· Provides leadership and subject matter expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns and security best practices

· Serve as an information security advisor to key technology and business stakeholders, establishing trust relationships through active engagement and collaboration

· Mentor Intermediate and Associate Security Architects

· Identification and evaluation of new security technologies

· Identify business requirements that affect the enterprise security architecture and provide solutions that integrate into the overall architectural vision and strategy

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Demonstrated proficiency in understanding security risks, identifying gaps and creating strategies and solutions

· In-depth technical knowledge of complex enterprise environments

· Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing security controls and processes

· Demonstrated ability to perform a risk-based approach to securing applications, databases or infrastructure based upon technology and business needs

· Proficiency in designing and implementing complex enterprise applications, infrastructures, platforms and systems, addressing security, performance, scalability, and reliability

· Broad knowledge of information security principles and practices

· Understanding of the threat landscape facing enterprise healthcare

· Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks

· Regulatory compliance in Healthcare

· Data Security Frameworks in Healthcare

· Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture

· Demonstrate knowledge of cloud security architecture

· Knowledge of cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

· Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

· Knowledge of security incident response processes

· Knowledge of Blue Team/Red Team functions

· Proficiency with Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Cloud Security, Data Security, Application / Mobile Security, Infrastructure OS Platform Security or other technical security subject matter

· Project planning and budgeting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· 10 years experience in information technology

· 5 years experience in information security

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

· Bachelor’s degree

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or

· Global Information Assurance Certification – General Security (GSEC)

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

· Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

· ITIL Certification
