Titan America IT Security Engineer in Athens, Greece
TITAN Cement Group is looking for a talented and high-caliber professional to join the Group IT team, as IT Security Engineer.
The job holder will be responsible for the security of the company’s computer systems and networks, working in collaboration with the Information Security team to safeguard company's information assets.

The role is required to:
Implement, maintain and manage security measures for the protection of infrastructure equipment and services, on-premise and in the Cloud
Analyze security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, EDR platforms, authentication systems, content filtering, and others, seek and propose for continuous improvements
Monitor and troubleshoot security systems to maintain a stable operating environment
Support the deployment of projects related to IT security to enhance the company's IT security posture
Apply company’s Security Architecture principles to deliver IT security solutions
Suggest cost-effective solutions to IT Security problems
Create implementation configuration documents and operational procedures for applied IT security solutions
Participate in information security incident response activities
Support IT security matters as needed
Act as a liaison between IT Infrastructure and Information Security teams
Liaise with vendors to support the plan and implementation of IT security solutions
Test software, firmware, systems’ services and networking hardware and services to identify and suggest security-tightening measures
Assist in security, software, hardware or IT systems’ improvements
What you will bring along:
BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or other equivalent degrees
Minimum 4 years of total working experience within an IT department; at least 2 years' experience as IT Security Engineer
Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, content filtering, etc.
Endpoint security solutions, including file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention
Experience in building and maintaining IT security systems
Experience with network, database, mobiles device management (MDM), Endpoint security solutions and operating system security
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
Excellent oral and written skills in English
Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) will be considered an asset
