You assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements.

How you will contribute

The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

The role is designated to lead among others a big and complex project. The main scope is firefighting system providing or improvement according to NFPA standards and GRC (Global Risk Consultant) requirements. Cooperation with Plant and Cluster Project Engineering teams members involved in development, procurement process and implementation of the projects, People & Process Safety, Food safety aspects, contractors’ management. Contribution to Plant firefighting system concept, design, timing, budget, alignments with plant production and shut-downs plan and final approval. Cooperation with Plant team encompassing: HSE (zero LTA and environmental pollutions), industrial safety (full cooperation), controlling (assets and write-off), accounting (GRs), M&R, production, LT; procurement team (bidding processes); insurance consultants (recommendations, approvals, and final tests) and local authority (permission, agreements). Leading of execution stage including safety, food safety, GMP, security aspects, contractor management, assets control, interaction with authorities and GRC insurance consultants, budget spending control.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or Electrical engineering or Chemical engineering or Production engineering or Civil Engineering or relevant.

  • Excellent use of English Language.

  • Proven experience in Project management, execution and leading CAPEX projects.

  • 3+ years of experience in FMCG, manufacturing, pharmaceutical sector or relevant.

  • Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, project management software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).

  • Working effectively and under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, people and food safety principles.

  • Understanding and awareness of food production operation principles.

  • Contribute to effective communication between contactors, plant team and production plan.

  • Leading of design and contractors work on site.

  • Experience with NFPA, FM-global standards will be considered an asset.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
