Commonwealth Care Alliance Associate Device Management Administrator (Remote) in Boston, Massachusetts

Why This Role is Important to Us:

The Associate Device Management Administrator reports to the Sr. Manager, End User Services.

The Associate Device Management Administrator deploys and supports Microsoft Modern Management platforms which includes Intune, SCCM, Windows Autopilot, Co-management, MEM and Azure Portal. Including all cloud-attached and on-premises end-user devices (laptop, mobile, etc.), responsible for installing and updating of operating systems, application installations, and patches. Edit security policies for all mobile devices. Will participate in application deployments and updates for both remote workforce and office employees. Manage all troubleshooting and reduce incidents and issues through automation. Strong skill set in Endpoint services with Microsoft Intune and client management platforms SCCM. Must be able to perform duties and complete in the allotted time working closely with senior device/endpoint administrator. Must work collaboratively with stakeholders and provide proactive expertise.

Supervision Exercised:

  • No, this position does not have direct reports.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Maintain and update golden image (drivers, OS version and application versions) on a monthly basis.

  • Provide remediation to security identified vulnerabilities (patches, application version upgrades and new application deployment)

  • Support a diverse mobile environment and manage iOS/iPadOS, Android, Windows, and macOS devices securely.

  • Purge decommissioned devices from Intune and SCCM

  • Work closely with senior device/endpoint manager in maintaining the Intune/Autopilot environment OSD creation/maintenance, application packaging/deployment, Windows patching, hardware specs, etc.

  • Microsoft Endpoint Management - Responsible for device management

  • Experience in automating applications for software distribution

  • Administer, integrate, and co-management (Intune-SCCM)

  • Enforce policies that help keep your organization's data safe on organization-owned and personal devices.

  • Effectively and proactively monitor the health and activity of endpoints across the organization.

  • Create and deploy app packages and updates for all devices, including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

  • Systems Administration of asset management and patch management software

  • Work with other IT teams to configure, test and deploy systems and applications

  • Provide problem diagnosis and resolution.

  • Prioritize and execute tasks, in a time-sensitive environment.

  • Ability and desire to conduct research and resolve tickets, from the end user community, for mobile device issues and new products.

  • Experience with collaborating on strategic projects in a company setting

  • Representing the team in Change Control meetings to review and promote change requests

What We're Looking For:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in the IT industry

  • Minimum 2 years device management system experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), and Microsoft SCCM.

  • 1-2 years of Experience in patching utilizing enterprise class solutions (SCCM, Kaseya & Intune)

  • 1-2 years of Experience of Apple OSX Management systems using Apple Business Manager with InTune.

  • 1-2 years of Experience with implementation, and maintenance of corporate BYOD program.

  • 1-2 years of Experience using Powershell and other scripting tools

  • 1-2 years of Experience with Autopilot to configure out-of-the-box experience for auto-enrollment.

  • 1-2 years of experience with VDI app and desktop configuration, maintenance, and optimization

  • 1-2 years of Experience and Expertise with creating detailed process flow diagrams and documentation

Desired Experience:

  • Scripting knowledge Install Script, VB script, Batch script, PowerShell, Wise script, WQL

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in Autopilot, Co-management, Conditional Access, device policies, MAM for IOS and Android), significant understanding in Azure Active Directory and Office 365, Security (LAPS, Bitlocker)

  • Knowledge in Microsoft cloud technologies such M365, Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, Hybrid Joined devices, and Azure Ad Joined devices

  • Knowledge and hands on experience in PowerShell scripting for automation

  • Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills

  • Ability to adhere to and meet deliverables following strict service level agreements

  • Ability to create custom application packages for automated deployment

  • Expertise in Deploying Windows 10 Golden Images using Task Sequence and Adding LOB Applications, Drivers, Language packs and Applications to Task Sequence.

  • Have an intermediate level of understanding of Windows 10 administration

  • Have solid understanding to maintain domain services such as AD, GP, OUs, and certificates related to SCCM administration.

  • Expertise with computer hardware and software including recent Microsoft and Mac operating systems, and Microsoft and Mac common desktop applications

  • Flexibility to think strategically as well as provide hands-on assistance and to support the organization in rapidly evolving requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible, and team-oriented environment

  • Ability to work calmly and constructively under pressure and meet deadlines; the ability to manage and keep track of multiple tasks simultaneously
