Morgan Stanley Credit COO Team Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

The role will reside within the Firm Risk Management’s Credit Risk Management (CRM) department on the Chief Operating Officer (COO) team. The position will be in a newly established group within the COO team, whose goal is to ensure that the Firm has a robust Risk Management framework in place, which accurately reflects the global CRM practices, while remaining aligned to regulatory requirements. Additional focus for the role is Change Management, requiring the use of financial knowledge to connect with global expert stakeholders to understand their needs and help drive the necessary process improvements in a globally consistent and efficient way.

You will: - Working closely with individuals across various Credit groups, IT, Risk Analytics, Operations, and across business units at the firm to implement enhancements across Credit Risk Management - Updating and maintaining the Credit population of Risk Controls on a regular basis - Managing stakeholders across various Credit groups to ensure adequate CRM participation in the New Product Approval process - Preparing management-level reporting related to operating metrics across CRM - Analyzing and organizing data in support of various regulatory inquiries - Collaborating across FRM to complete Firm-wide related deliverables and initiatives - Performing additional ad-hoc assignments upon request

You will: - Bachelor’s degree required - Project management experience is desirable - Ability to support/manage and facilitate cross-functional group projects to achieve common goals while liaising with stakeholders to prioritize deliverables and drive milestones - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite necessary - Effective multi-tasker who can prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines and coordinate across senior management - An interest in working in a fast-paced environment, often balancing multiple high priority deliverables while building and maintaining relationships - Curious self-motivator interested in developing expertise in financial products, markets, and risk management practice - Familiarity with credit risk management a plus
