Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Help Desk Technician to join our client's IT support team. This role involves providing technical support to end-users, and assisting with PC set-ups and deployment. This would be a 3 month contract with a high chance of extending.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.

• Document all support requests and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.

• Use SCCM for software distribution, updates, and patch management.

• Monitor and report on SCCM deployment status and compliance.

• Assist with the administration and support of Office 365 applications (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive)

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 services and applications.

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11).

• Prepare and deploy new PCs and laptops, including hardware setup and software installation.

• Assist with the setup and configuration of peripheral devices

  Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SCCM for software deployment and patch management highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Office 365 support.

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10, Windows 11).

• Experience with PC deployment and hardware setup.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
