Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to bring to life the vision of a program supporting all early careers hires at AECOM during the first 5 years of their career.

In this role, the Early Careers Program Manager will work globally with talent development, talent management, talent attraction, HR to design and manage a comprehensive 5-year program for our graduate hires. The program will encompass training, mentoring, career path connection and networking opportunities to ensure the successful integration and growth of AECOM’s future technical leaders.

This role will include representing the voice of the business and business strategy, facilitation of learning content, collaboration, and influence to build the program and for implementation and the overall management of the program. This role will be a key anchor in bringing to life AECOM culture for newly hired early career professionals, create interest and commitment for a long-term career with AECOM and build a of continuous learning and quality delivery mindset.

This program will be done at scale, globally, and include over 1,000 of participants entering the pipeline annually.

This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules (including a combination of both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual) to be based in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a structured 5-year global development program for graduate hires incorporating training, progression towards licensure/chartership/professional certification, mentoring, career development planning and networking.

  • Responsible for engaging with all local stakeholders across our regions to assess needs to advance priorities.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including all of HR, hiring managers, subject matter expects and external partners to ensure alignment of the program with organizational goals, strategy and values.

  • Implement and oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, working across the business and global regions, to offer training sessions, assigning mentors, create career experiences, tracking progress and program evaluation.

  • Collaboration with regionally / business aligned talent and HR staff as well as early career professional ERGs to create and deliver a world-class experience.

  • Monitor and evaluate the success of the program through regular feedback, surveys and insights gained in implementation and adjust as experiences to refine the overall experience

  • Manage a budget to support program implementation.

  • Track and provide evaluation data on program success and participant engagement.

  • Be an AECOM U // Digital learning champion.

  • Participates as active member of global talent, leadership, inclusion and TechEx development team.

  • Designs and works with design team to ensure training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.

  • Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training design and delivery.

  • Facilitate effectively both in-person and virtual.

  • Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a related field plus at least 6 years of relevant talent experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Strong project management stills with the ability to influence cross-functionally and drive results in fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in mentoring or coaching program management.

  • Facilitation expertise both in person and virtual

  • Thorough understanding of training processes and learner experience

  • Technology savvy in LMS, TEAMS and design software

  • Ability to moderate large groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field preferred

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • Global experience a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationship sand influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $135,000.00.
