Parsons has been incredibly successful in recent months and is looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager (Bridge) to support complex, transformational projects that will help shape North America for generations to come.

Parsons Denver bridge team is known as a Center of Excellence for Complex Structures, and we are currently looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our world-class bridge design team, in the capacity as the Lead Structural Engineer on our APD projects.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports pre-contract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant.

  • Responsible for the review and approval of discipline staffing budget estimates and staffing assignment schedules, as well as review and approve staff forecasting reports.

  • Responsible to monitor the quality and progress of the discipline on each project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied, and implementing Parsons Quality procedures.

  • Work closely with Project Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance or productivity.

  • Responsible for overall managerial and technical direction of the discipline.

  • Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees, offers personnel development, conducts performance evaluations, counsels, takes corrective action, as required.

  • Ensures that new employees receive orientation on company policies and procedures, establishes standards and procedures manuals for the discipline and recommends improvements to department procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Must have a 4-year degree and extensive, relevant experience (20 years minimum) with extensive experience in the analysis/design/construction of major bridge structures.

  • Client facing experience with contractors, owners and subconsultants is a must.

  • Must be a registered Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer with ability to become registered in additional jurisdictions.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Should have solid experience in the preparation of complex, staged final design contract documents, as well as bridging documents for design-build procurements.

Salary Range:

$140,700.00 - $253,300.00
