About the Job:
Join an exciting TI design group developing high-speed state-of-the-art analog Integrated Circuits (ICs). Our group designs both cutting-edge high-speed Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog Converters (ADCs and DACs). We are looking for a highly motivated new college graduate to work under supervision of our experienced IC engineering team. Your role will involve various technically challenging and innovative tasks spanning the full cycle of mixed-signal IC development. Rotation between these tasks serves both project execution and personal growth:
Analog and mixed-signal IC topology development to satisfy the system and IC specifications
Simulation and verification using SPECTRE, AMS and MAESTRO
IC layout and parasitic extraction followed by iterative optimization in the Virtuoso environment
Characterization and possible debug of previous and next generation data converter IC's using high-end laboratory instruments and automatization software
Product modelling to create behavioral models and high-level understanding

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
Completed classes/labs in IC circuit design or equivalent industry experience
Deep understanding of IC circuits and associated understanding of IC devices
Good tactical and strategic thinking capabilities
Very strong sense of ownership while thinking beyond the assigned boundaries
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Effective English written and verbal communication competence
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Passion for creativity especially in RF and analog circuits
Knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso design tools such as Maestro, VPS VAVO, etc
Familiarity in high-speed (>10 GHz) clock and/or signal chain, including noise analysis, stability, aging, reliability, design for Electro-Migration
Knowledge of advanced small geometry process nodes
Additional software skills such as Electro-Magnetic extraction or MATLAB
Layout skills to help during peak loads and / or layout expertise such as matching & trim
