As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Quality Inspector.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting major quality issues to Senior Quality team
Working with inspection team to ensure inspection consistency.
To provide inspection services (identified by the Production and Quality Managers)
Support the planning of inspection activities based on agreed schedules with Materials Management and Production
Assist in the creation of new procedures, techniques, tools etc
Work to inspection schedules under general supervision
Taking part in the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure all products and updates are inspected
Assist in training of quality and production team members
Assist in development of statistical methods to reduce inspection
Provides support to production solving basic problems
Identifying non-conforming parts or products and escalating significant issues to Senior Quality team
Notifying design of any errors/inconsistency in inspection requirements
Raising non-conforming product reports
Liaising with suppliers as appropriate
Conduct Material Review Board activities (MRB)
Key Skills/ Experiences:
Inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment [essential]
Able to interpret Engineering drawings
Familiarity with quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports [essential]
Good written and oral communication skills [essential
