Job Description

An educational institution is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join their team headquartered in Irvine, CA. The engineer will be serving as an architect for endpoint management within OIT, maintaining currency in related technologies, and providing expertise, advice, direction in areas of new and emerging platforms. This person will maintain security design and practices, in collaboration with and as a liaison to security staff. The candidate will also perform operational tasks such as systems installations, migrations, upgrades, patching and apply subject matter expertise in architecture and operations of endpoint management to OIT. This position is hybrid and the candidate must come on site in Irvine at least 3 days a week.

  * 60% of the role is serving as an endpoint architect

  * 25% will be operational management

  * 10% is more applying subject matter expertise

Skills and Requirements

7-10 years of experience as an Endpoint Engineer/Architect

7-10 years of Mobile Device Management specifically BigFix experience

Experience with 2nd or 3rd tier level troubleshooting

Experience with Mac OS

Strong customer experience skills Experience using PowerShell

Experience with JAMF

Experience with Microsoft Intune

Bachelors Degree null
