Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Construction Management Delivery (Electrical) will play a pivotal role in overseeing all electrical aspects of the construction process for the Aquatic Oceanarium project. The Senior manager will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, managing electrical subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive electrical plans and specifications.

• Participate in project meetings to provide input on electrical systems design, procurement, and installation strategies.

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, and security systems.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and project specifications.

• Lead a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and technicians, providing guidance and support throughout the construction process.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and enforce safety protocols.

• Implement quality control measures to verify the integrity and functionality of electrical installations.

• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate project delays and cost overruns.

• Develop and manage budgets for electrical work, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in electrical construction management, preferably with a focus on large-scale commercial projects.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and troubleshooting.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

• Familiarity with construction management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and document control.
