Amazon Training Program Manager, Amazon Devices in London, United Kingdom

Description

Are you passionate about how technology can improve the lives of our customers? We are seeking a Training Program Manager to create knowledgeable, enthusiastic advocates of Amazon Devices across our European retail partners and internally within Amazon to ensure we best serve our customers.

You'll create engaging campaigns to educate and build excitement of Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Kindle and Alexa products using creative learning methods. A passion for learning and tech is a must, as well as experience in designing and delivering campaigns.

Key job responsibilities

As a Training Program Manager, you will:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop and evolve training content for new launches and features on Amazon Devices and Alexa across multiple European locales

  • Work with key European bricks and mortar retailers' to deliver training to store colleagues through combinations of e-learning, livestream and face-to-face methods

  • Create training plans for European Field Sales teams and build their knowledge and capability through train-the-trainer programmes

  • Use eLearning authoring tools to design and develop online learning experiences such as interactive activities, animated videos, graphics and images, and text-based content

  • Create methods to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training to shape the future of educating on Amazon Devices

A day in the life

You start the day listening to a briefing of a new product launching later in the year - you begin thinking through how to bring the key features and benefits to life and forming a work-back plan. Next, you have new functionality on Echo which requires communicating to our EU Field Sales organisation - you have created a one-pager and demonstrate over video call to this team. Lastly, you have agreed with a large retailer a training programme to upskill and engage their staff through an e-learning campaign. You gain agreement to proceed and start designing the new engaging content.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience defining and executing program requirements

  • Experience delivering training through multiple methods - e-learning, in-person and train-the-trainer.

  • Passion and curiosity about tech products.

  • Experience working with bricks and mortar retailers either through channel/trade marketing, field sales, training, account management or retail shop floor experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Bachelor's degree
