DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Food Service Manager, you will work diligently to ensure food and supplies are available for our patient menus and special events while maintaining a high level of customer service. Utilizing a computerized system, you will order and direct the receiving, recording, storing, and distribution of food, supplies, and equipment. You will also provide oversight to the Food Service Supervisors, interact with vendors, and focus on providing high-quality, cost-effective meals. In addition, you will c onduct meetings with subordinates and attend administrative meetings, as well as maintain departmental reports and records. An ideal candidate for the position will possess excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of supervisory experience involving the preparation of special diet menus in a school, hospital, nursing home or closely related institutional food service operation and a bachelor's degree with major coursework in foods, nutrition, dietetics, food service, institutional management or a related field;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of supervisory experience involving the preparation of special diet menus in a school, hospital, nursing home or closely related institutional food service operation.
