We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who will assume a key role on our team. This role has responsibility for understanding our platform that enables organizations to digitally transform their business processes through portals, dashboards, and workflows.

This role will be operating on a hybrid schedule with two (2) telework days a week out of our Peoria, IL office.

Your responsibilities:

Requirements

• Three to twelve (3-12) months of experience using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST API.

• Good understanding of client-side scripting.

• Experience with debugging client-side scripts.

• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• Understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process.

• Understand recent UI design and development standards and trends.

• Excellent time-management and multi-tasking.

• Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.

• Collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team.

Preferred, but not required:

• Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, color theory and typography.

• Developing software using disciplined analysis, design, development, and test methods.

• Understanding of the limitations of web and mobile, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries.

• Developing best-in-class consumer experiences (user interface designs, interaction models, prototypes, etc.) in a fast-paced, agile, start-up-like environment.

• Must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.

• Should be self-driven with basic guidance.

• Bachelors/Associate degree in computer science or related experience.

• Experience with PnPjs APIs.

• Experience with developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Experience with developing custom client scripts for SharePoint.

• Experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience building PWA apps.

• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

• MCTS or MCPD certifications.

• Prior Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
