Applied Materials Senior SW engineer in Rehovot, Israel

What you'll be doing:
As a member of this team you will make important technical decisions in creating the software to operate Applied Materials products through code and solid architecture, while being surrounded by a strong technical team.
You will work with multiple groups and stakeholders, to define and promote various complex solutions.
What you should have?
• Experience in implementation of complex software and great analytical skills
• 5+ years of experience in backend/server-side development
• Experience with one of the following programming languages Java, Python, C#
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree
• Strong knowledge of system software architecture of large distributed systems
• Team player and as well as being able to take full ownership and work independently
• Passion about technology
Advantage
• Experience in Agile development
• Experience with working in multidisciplinary company
• Experience working with web technologies
• Knowledge in Linux, Kubernetes and Dockers
• Knowledge in open source projects, frameworks and hands-on assimilation of open source / 3rd party software
