Applied Materials Electro Optics NPI - Supplier engineer in Rehovot, Israel

We are looking for a senior and experienced Engineer to lead the technical domain of Applied Materials cutting-edge Optics suppliers as part of the operation division.

Operations Engineering group consists of highly experienced engineers in many disciplines, such as Mechanics, Optics, Electronics and Motion, responsible for managing all technical aspects of cutting-edge suppliers worldwide.

We drive our suppliers to excellence and robustness, enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility in Rehovot.

What you'll be doing?

  • Responsibility for Applied Materials Suppliers manufacturing compliance from early NPI processes through engineering transitions to sustained production.

  • Early engagement in NPI development processes, Leading Suppliers Engineering perspective and influencing Product-design to achieve Operational criteria, Suppliers optimized Testability and Manufacturability by standard industry tools, like D/FMECA, PQP, SPC, etc.

  • responsibility over Applied Material future growth in terms of Suppliers' capacity

What should you have?

  • Education: Engineering Degree in Electronics / Electro-optics Engineering / Physics

  • Experience: 7+ Years of experience under relevant professional positions

  • Experience working with Optics Suppliers through Development/ Engineering transitions and Sustained manufacturing processes.

  • Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering processes.

  • High Technical capabilities, Demonstrating in-depth comprehensive understanding within own discipline and wide knowledge of others.

  • Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
