RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide engineering support of equipment used in the manufacturingand development of advanced technology products at Qorvo, Richardson Operations.

  • Improve equipment availability and reduce cycle time, costs and yield loss through data driven equipment hardware and process performance improvements.

  • Upgrade and re-engineer equipment to improve equipment performance.

  • Define and improve detailed preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.

  • Coordinate machine installations to support factory capacity expansions.

  • Present and communicate data analysis and improvement actions to FAB management and equipment technicians.

  • Assist in resolving complex corrective maintenance tasks and documents lessons learned to improve technician skills.

  • Lead cross functional continuous improvement teams to implement solutions that address the root cause of problem areas.

  • Must be able to work and manage several projects in parallel and execute to commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical capability, including knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Knowledge and application of SPC in the manufacturing environment

  • Photolithography Equipment (ASML PAS5500, ASML 400XT, TEL ACT8, CandD Tracks, EVG Bonders, Suss Bonders)
