CoStar Group is seeking a dynamic, high-performing P roduct Manager to lead the development of its residential research & content curation experience. This is a role that will be responsible for driving a workflow and content curation experience that our Content team loves. You will lead the long-term product vision for the associate experience, and focus on the planning and execution of CX throughout the CRM Product Lifecycle. You will partner with the Senior Product Managers as well as with the broader cross functional group including Product Design, Engineering, and Business Operations.

This position is in Richmond, VA and offers the following hybrid schedule:

  • 3 days onsite / 2 day remote

      

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In this role, you'll play a crucial part in guiding our teams to success. Your responsibilities include crafting clear and actionable problem statements, showcasing your deep understanding of iterative software delivery, and skillfully grooming thin-slice MVPs.

  • Drawing from customer insights, you'll shape priorities and contribute to the roadmap for feature development for CoStar’s Residential Research. Your keen eye for detail comes into play as you obsess over UX/UI patterns, striving to create world-class omni-channel experiences.

  • Taking ownership of the near-term product roadmap, you'll prioritize effectively to deliver on business outcomes. Swift identification of points of leverage within complex problems or systems, coupled with data-driven decision-making, will be key to defining success metrics and measurable outcomes.

  • Your balanced judgment guides decisions about the risks of both actions taken and not taken. Innovation is part of your approach as you seek ways to iterate faster in a well-managed manner for the immediate team. Collaboration with Tech partners involves sharing our business strategy and roadmap to establish context, while also leading and facilitating agile ceremonies alongside the Tech Lead.

  • Adding value to our capabilities, you'll create reusable, extensible, and resilient solutions. Proactively identifying opportunities when key metrics on security, resilience, and performance need attention, you ensure a proactive and strategic approach.

  • Communicating a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams is part of your role, coupled with providing accurate details and transparency on risks and impediments. Building relationships beyond your immediate team, your influence extends horizontally.

  • Contributing to team culture and recruiting, you'll lead activities to attract and retain top talent. Mentoring and developing junior product associates showcase your commitment to fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree  from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

  • 5+ years of digital Product Management experience with a proven track record delivering industry leading products and solutions 

  • 5+ years' experience managing the development of digital content products supporting a search experience

  • Experience defining and detailing product requirements and launching products/functionality enhancements to meet customer needs 

  • Collaborated with development resources to prioritize features in an agile-scrum process 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills 

  • Experience creating wireframes & mock ups to visually convey and inspire product ideas 

  • Understanding of content management systems and editorial workflows 

PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 6+ years of digital Product Management experience with a proven track record delivering industry leading products and solutions 

  • 6+ years' experience managing the development of digital content products supporting a search experience

  • Residential Real Estate domain knowledge 

  • Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Brightspot CMS, and Google Analytics
