Actalent is now hiring Quality Control Lab Technicians for a food science lab settings in San Antonio, Tx!

Description:

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for monitoring, documenting, and enforcing policies as well as training key team members and taking critical corrective action when required. The technician role is a hands on role in a fast-paced production environment. The ability to quickly assess risk and ensure plans are executed are critical skills required to perform this role.

Responsibilities:

• Follow SOP process

• Inspect food products

• Document results

• Take temperatures of food products

• Perform swabs

• Visual inspection of products

• Train new Team Members

Shift:

Monday - Friday / 6pm - 2am

Skills:

Required minimum 6 months experience of QA/QC experience in a food and beverage company

Associates or Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science) Preferred*

Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work - prepping and weighing samples, moisture testing
