Job Description

Main responsibilities

• Develop infotainment validation strategy, work with development team to determine validation scope, level, focus for each release.

• Keep aligned with global infotainment development & validation teams for Infotainment feature requirement & specification researching and tracking. Keep test procedure updated to cover latest requirements.

• Lead execution of test procedures, perform initial issue analysis, accurately document and track defects, actively support root cause analysis, and report to program team the latest status and defects.

• Collaborate with local team on feature integration status to adjust validation plan. Especially in the early stage between 65%-80% BOR to keep closely alignment with integration team to tracking feature readiness. Complete feature testing by VTC and escalate critical issue, pushing development team to fix issue in time.

• Collaborate with joint venture partners and suppliers on issue reproduction, root cause, vehicle testing and field testing. Actively participate in the resolution of engineering related infotainment issues.

• Design and writing feature automation scripts under common automation farmwork. Responsible for feature automation execution, issue reporting and triage. Keep improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.

Knowledge:

• 5-7 years’ experience in infotainment system development or validation is required.

• Experience in smart phone/device development or validation is preferred.

• Basic coding skills on automation scripts. Such as CAN bus message simulation, Python scripts.

• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas are preferred: vehicle cabinet infotainment, vehicle communication, navigation, software development, connected service, OTA.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor or above of Computer Science & Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.

Skills:

• Mandarin is required during daily work.

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills (including English).

• High level of analytical problem-solving skills.

• Cross functional working.

• Strong motivational skills.

• Willing to conduct and participate in conference calls outside normal work hours.

• Driving license is required.
