Job Description

  • Interface regularly with Hong Kong project managers and project delivery teams.

  • Assist Hong Kong Project Managers with project change order, the preparation and update of the EAC and project closeout; ensure that the current budget reflects original as-sold contract plus all client approved changes.

  • Ensure Change order, EAC and Closeout approval request comply with polices, follow up with project team if any exception.

  • Understand contract business/commercial terms and monitor projects for contract compliance.

  • Monitor project performance and key indicators: support PMs as required in understanding project performance.

  • Ensure all incurred costs are reflected accurately and in a timely fashion on the project.

  • Ensure that the financial impacts of change orders are reflected correctly in Workbench.

  • Monitor & analyze revenue to ensure proper revenue recognition methods used; be able to explain key project metrics and lead indicators.

  • Work proactively over the month to clear project financial issues in Workbench, including: % complete > 100%, BIEE adjustments, cash > contract value and others as outlined by regional financial leadership.

  • Follow up on month end events to ensure they are processed in Workbench timely.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance related major, with 3 years of accounting related experience.

  • Being a self-starter, strong communication skills and the ability to work in teams.

  • Attention to detail with accuracy, completeness, and consistency and adherence to strict deadlines.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English. Good at Cantonese is preferred.
