Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) is a highly diversified team of 200+ employees internationally, providing internal services to 100+ non-USA locations, in 30+ countries, ensuring safe, secure & compliant operations in an effective and efficient deliver manner for our stakeholder communities. The team reports into Boeing Global, supporting regional teams and works in close collaboration with Enterprise Services, Global Real Estate, Facilities and Asset Management, Indirect Supply Chain, Enterprise Financial Services, Security & Fire Protection, IT and HR Services to deliver a global capability.

Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) is seeking a Project Management Specialist , based in Singapore on a full-time permanent basis . This role is based in the office with some flexibility on offer to work from home.

This role is part of Project Management Office (PMO) within Boeing Global Enterprise Services with focus on advancing our global infrastructure. The position will project manage and provide oversight on small/medium/large internal facilities projects in South East Asia and Australia. For project management, this position will work very closely with in-country business support managers and integrated project team (IPT) in the region. This position will report to Director – Business Operations, and will partner with in-country business support managers, in-country leadership, in-country functional leaders, and key stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Develop, document, and organize project goals, success criteria, baseline plan, milestone, and integrated schedules in coordination with integrated project team and key stakeholders.

  • Provide thorough oversight on project execution, milestones, project schedule, budget, EACs and progress to track the projects progress against baseline plan.

  • Oversee and recommend quality controls at every stage of the project, in partnership with in-country project manager, business support manager and integrated project team.

  • Effectively and timely communicating with integrated project team and all the key stakeholders in-country and at enterprise level.

  • Identify, mitigate, and report risks and opportunities of each project.

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities at every stage of the project cycle

  • Assist in implementing change management process.

  • Implement project management best practices, automation opportunities and IT tools in coordination with in-country project manager and integrated project team.

  • Prepare and present in-depth projects status reports, KPIs and matrix in global enterprise forum, representing region.

  • Maintain, update and report regional facilities strategy document (swim lane chart) and capital plan for the region.

  • Lead or assist regional or global process improvement or automation projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Solid project management skills with at least 5 years of demonstrable work experience in project management in global environment.

  • Thorough and extensive experience in implementing project management best practices and detailed reporting.

  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to take the initiative and drive the project oversight on multiple projects within organizational complexity.

  • Strong collaborative leadership and organizational skills to deliver results through a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence with or without authority.

  • Demonstrated ability to confidently and interface with project stakeholders who may include executives, senior managers, business partners, enterprise functions and project managers.

  • Excellent and advanced oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Advanced and demonstrated IT skills in Excel, Power Point, Word and Microsoft Project.

  • Demonstrated solid IT skills in implementing and working on project management tools.

  • Strong sensitivity for cultural differences and ability to implement business acumen in global environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration or aviation related discipline is preferred but not essential.

  • An Internationally recognized project management certification, such PMP by PMI is preferred but not essential.

Relocation:

  • Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.

  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  • Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.

  • This position may be required to travel on an ad-hoc basis depending on business requirements.

Work Authority:

  • Benefits and pay are determined in line with Singapore labor market practices. This is not an expat assignment.
