Out team in Stevenage is very pleased and happy to be able to add to their current team for a Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for many objectives in your role, such as: Operate under general direction, monitors, tests, and inspects products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed.

· Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure they meet specified standards, are free of flaws, and function as designed. May work in laboratory settings running tests and duplicating real-world conditions, using tools such as micrometers, callipers, gauges, volt meters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electronic inspection equipment to aid in quality inspections and assessments.

· Program and run the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) machines (Laser Tracker).

· Participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA)activities such as A3 and 8D’s.

· Create and Complete paperwork such as Process Maps, PPAP, Control Plans and FMEAs.

· 3 years or more of relevant experience is required depending on the complexity level of the job.

· Experience within Quality Inspection is a must, with the added benefit of Engineering

· Knowledge of quality engineering processes and regulatory requirements is essential.

· Able to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.

· Customer orientated.

· Demonstrated analytical skills to proactively identify and solve problems.

· Able to interpret internal/external business challenges and make recommendations for improvements to products, processes, or services.

· Confident when explaining a range of complex technical information.

· Capable to gather data, compile information, and preparing reports.

· Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

· Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and database management tools.
