HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Hudson Valley is one of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York (SUNY) system and serves nearly 9,000 students each year. Web Application Administrator HV-NTP-84840

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and one (1) year experience with administering web systems and building complex web forms and workflows OR Associates degree in Information Technology or related field and two (2) years experience with administering web systems and building complex web forms and workflows OR four (4) years experience with administering web systems and building complex web forms and workflows.

Working knowledge of service management methodologies (ITIL) and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical users at various levels in the organization.

Ability to analyze and understand complex workflow processes and create new processes that apply to existing department policies, processes, and procedures.

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience administering TeamDynamix, MachForm, or Dynamic Forms or similar web form management system. Familiarity with HTML and CSS. ITIL Foundation Certification. Experience working with administrators, faculty, and staff in a secondary or post-secondary environment.

Experience working within higher education technology environments.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Web Application Administrator reports to the Manager of Web Applications and Integration and performs the following duties:

• Maintains web applications including but not limited to: TeamDynamix, Dynamic Forms, and MachForm.

• Makes approved changes to settings, forms, and workflows, troubleshoot incidents, and fulfill support requests related to ITSM applications.

• Assesses new system functionality and its potential for playing a role in improving business processes.

• Monitors the service health and usage of web applications.

• Researches and identifies areas of improvements or expansion within the applications that would benefit the college.

• Provides administrator, technician and end-user documentation and training on web applications.

• Works with users to analyze business requirements and workflows as they are translated to web applications, ensuring solutions are aligned with best practices within each application.

• Designs and build complex web forms and reports to meet business needs

• Participates in workshops and planning sessions, consulting with staff subject matter experts to expand services.

• Maintains current industry-standard knowledge pertaining to Information Technology and web systems.

• Performs related duties as assigned by the Manager of Web Applications and Integrations.

This is a full-time 37.5-hour work week positions with a salary range of $60,000-$65,000.
