Project Manager/Business Analyst, Contractor

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive projects and initiatives to deliver in scope, on budget, and on time solutions.

• Manage relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.

• Ensure the implementation and maintenance of application processes are executed according to the established standards.

• Drive IT Change Management and SDLC processes for projects/changes rollouts.

• Lead requirements gathering efforts and gap analysis.

• Work with the business on creating detailed user requirements and test scripts.

• Assist with Statement of Work reviews and negotiations.

• Ensure business users and application vendors are educated on and adhere to IT Change Control and SDLC processes.

• Lead the development and monitoring of given functional service measures and ensure services are operating at or above targets.

• Identify and create business case for new functional area capabilities and enhancements that drive business value and improve user experience.

• Provide techno-functional expertise and support.

• Partner with Business Units and IT to drive continuous process improvements to address business strategies and needs.

• Drive release management process for systems upgrades.

• Contribute to development of functional area strategy, technology roadmaps, resource planning, and IT budgeting in alignment with overall IT and Amicus strategy.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field (equivalent education and work experience may be substituted)

Professional Work Experience

• 5+ years supporting Veeva Vault QualityDocs and Training is required.

• Project Management experience is required.

• 5+ years of Life Sciences industry experience preferred.

• PMI Certification is a plus.

• Experience supporting Veeva RIM and/or Veeva eTMF/CTMS is a plus.

• Veeva Vault Administrator certification is a plus.

• Applications Management experience is a plus.

• Experience supporting ERP systems is a plus.

Skills

• Ability to quickly learn multiple IT Systems and disperse information to others.

• Ability to work in a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
