Job Description

An employer is seeking a Java Programmer Analyst to join their team to go onsite 5 days a week in Waller, TX. This person will be joining a team of 3 senior developers to maintain and develop new and existing web applications. He/she will mostly be interacting with the technical lead and scrum master to support the company overall. They will be responsible for analyzing business problems to design and implement technical solutions for internal and external applications. This person will take independent ownership of multiple projects from start to finish before being executed to the business. In addition to having strong coding skills, they will also need to know how to analyze data and build reports utilizing SQL server. They will be responsible for checking the applications for quality purposes and making adjustments accordingly. It is essential that this person can be effective in their communication and pay close attention to detail.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience of web application development in Java 8+ or higher

5+ years of experience building web APIs (REST or SOAP)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree

Experience working with databases (DB2 or SQL server) and writing SQL queries

Working knowledge of Spring MVC frameworks

Strong analytical skills to provide business solutions Experience with web application technologies (Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA Javascript, Bootstrap, Angular 2+, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSP, Strut 2)

Knowledge of Remedyforce ticketing system or similar

Ability to work independently with little to no supervision null
