We are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for a Logistics Manager, based at our Warwick site. The overall purpose of this position is to coordinate local warehouse activities, including processing of imported goods and export of finished goods.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cultivating a culture of safety within the workplace, promoting adherence to best practices for a secure work environment.

  • Overseeing the Regional Distribution Center, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows.

  • Strives to meet corporate service and quality objectives in the most efficient manner possible.

  • Manages the budget for team departments, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial efficiency.

  • Directs strategic logistics and/or warehouse functions, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.

  • Ensures accuracy in local inventory management, minimizing discrepancies and enhancing operational efficiency. Responsible annual stock take.

  • Manages warehouse claims, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

  • May oversee import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

  • Monitors the performance of local transportation, managing relationships with local forwarders to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

  • Engages in talent development and succession planning, fostering a strong and capable team for future organisational needs.

  • Develops a lean strategy for operations and monitors its execution, promoting efficiency and waste reduction.

  • Manages stakeholder relationships effectively, ensuring open communication and mutual understanding.

  • Leads global strategic projects, overseeing their execution from initiation to completion.

    Skills, Experience & Competencies

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics

  • 2-3 years experience in foreign trade/logistics/customs brokers

  • Highly analytical and problem solving orientated

  • Fluent in English Language in reading, writing and speaking

  • Self-motivated, able to make independent decisions

  • Strong project management skills.
